The September Window
September's release includes these five original abstract paintings which are available to buy now. Each one hints at a landscape, but offers a quiet invitation to drift, to feel, and to follow where they take you.
A LITTLE NOTE FROM THE STUDIO
This month I have been thinking about what it feels like to be outdoors - The colours shapes and textures, the movement, the sensations both mental and physical, the gratitude I feel, the emotions it stirs up.
These five pieces grew out of those feelings, using layers marks and colour, to explore the rhythms I notice when I am out walking and looking at the landscape. Every piece in this release is an original, painted on a cradled wooden panel, which gives it a lovely deep profile that doesn't require framing.
The Window Gallery is my way of sharing what is happening in the studio, one small collection at a time. I hope you find something that makes you pause. When a work finds its new home, it becomes part of the story of that particular 'window'.
